I’ve recently been discovering, and loving, the REN Moroccan Rose range of natural, and stunningly scented skincare, and this made me realise how much of my beauty and skincare regime relies on roses! Here are my five favourite rose products that I currently use:

5 Best Rose Beauty Products

1. Rose Petal Witch Hazel Alcohol Free Toner | Thayers
amazon.co.uk    £9.99 (plus delivery)

As I replaced all my skincare products with more natural alternatives, the search for a natural toner let me to this. It’s alcohol free with no parabens and other chemicals, replying instead on the skin-clarifying and soothing properties of witch hazel, aloe vera and rose. It doesn’t dry my skin and the rose scent is subtle. This one product alone makes my everyday cleansing routine feel like a salon facial.

2. Rose Day Cream | Dr. Hauschka Cosmetics
hauschka.com   £29.50

This rose moisturiser has long been a staple for me. Its rich and creamy, and my skin drinks it up, but you only need a tiny amount so a little goes a long way. I always wish Dr. Hauschka packaging was less clinical-looking, but it doesn’t stop me buying this again and again.

3. Moroccan Rose Gold Glow Perfect Dry Oil | Ren
renskincare.com   £26

The latest addition to my bathroom armoury, this wonderful dry oil from REN can be used on the body, face and hair to lock in hydration and give a subtle glow. I’ve been applying lavishly after showering, and the lovely Moroccan rose scent lingers throughout the day. Just gorgeous.

I found out about the REN Moroccan Rose range from the gorgeous boutique hotel The Magdalen Chapter in Exeter, where they use REN products in their amazing spa. I also found out that REM was founded in the South West, so it’s nice to support a ‘local’ brand that has now become an international favourite because of its philosophy of clean skin care along with products that deliver outstanding results. And lovely packaging. I’m hooked!

4. Rose & Co. Apothecary
rose-apothecary.co.uk   £5

I keep a pot of this pretty vintage-style salve on my desk at work. I apply it regularly as a lip balm and to my cuticles, usually in between tasks so it has become something of a ritual, where the rose scent picks me up and gees me on for the next job!

5. Desert Rose Rejuvenating Face Oil | Bodhi & Birch
bodhiandbirch.com   £38

From my favourite natural beauty brand of all time, Bodhi & Birch, comes this fabulous face oil that I was lucky enough to go to the launch of in 2012(and wrote about here). Words still cannot describe how I feel about this oil, so I will let Bodhi & Birch do the talking:

Rejuvenate and boost your skin radiance with Bulgarian Damask Rose Otto, Organic Argan Oil and Rosehip Seed Oil. An ultra-fine oil with a unique blend of eleven plant oils rich in essential vitamins, anti-oxidants and fatty-acids to intensely hydrate skin and stimulate cell rejuvenation. Considered the best, our rose oil comes from flowers hand-harvested from the Valley of Roses in Bulgaria. Skin is instantly transformed, feels velvety smooth and cashmere soft. Complexion appears refined and even-toned with a youthful glowing radiance. Fine lines look visibly diminished. Leaves skin protected in an ultra-nourishing glow.

It’s all true, and it smells so amazing. Bodhi & Birch have since introduced more rose products – the Rosa Rosa range, comprising a cleanser, toner and moisturiser, which I’ve yet to try, but is top of my to buy list for when my current  products run out.

So there you have it, my top five rose beauty products. Do you have any other suggestions for products I should try?
