When I reviewed Bodhi Botanical Therapies back in June, I was in raptures. The only thing I thought lacking was a complimentary range of body moisturisers so that the scents and therapeutic effects of the essential oils in the bath and shower therapies could be layered. I’m delighted to say that Bodhi body moisturisers have now been added to their range, and even happier that I have been testing them for you!

 

Just like Bodhi’s Bath and Shower Therapies, the scents of these body moisturisers are divine. All Bodhi products use a high percentage of essential oils, and you can both smell and feel the effects of this. The body moisturisers also contain Organic Shea Butter, Kukui Nut and Coconut oils, and sink in beautifully to the skin leaving it really, really soft.

 

I knew I’d like the Pep Noir Energising Body Moisturiser, as this is my favourite of the Bath and Shower Therapies – peppery and spicy, with frankincense and white thyme – it really is a treat for the senses. I am not over keen on the scent of lavender, and tend to avoid ‘relaxing’ preparations, but I was really pleasantly surprised by Bodhi’s Jasmine Falls Relaxing Body Moisturiser. The mix of jasmine and lavender together makes a very pleasant combination and change from pure lavender on its own, but still so relaxing and comforting. I slept like a baby when I used this moisturiser after my evening bath.

 

I really believe in Bodhi’s ethical ethos:

 

that long-term physical, mental, ethical and spiritual wellness outweighs short-term quick fixes. A healthy body, well cared-for skin and a balanced state of mind indirectly results in a more youthful outlook, helps increase confidence and promotes contentment.
