It’s nearly here, the foodie event of the year in the South West: Exeter Festival of South West Food and Drink 2014.
From 24 – 26 April, in the courtyard of Exeter Castle and the surrounding Northernhay Gardens, it is the place to be that weekend if you want to indulge in the very best of South West food and drink, see national TV celebrities, and learn from the many cookery demonstrations and workshops. There will also be many hands-on family activities to enjoy, making it the ideal family day out.
The promoters of the event have very kindly offered a family* set of tickets to the festival for Sunday 27 April 2014, to giveaway to one lucky reader of Molly and the Princess. If you would like a chance of winning, please follow the instructions in the Rafflecopter widget below:
* Family ticket is for 2 adults and up to 2 children under 16
Best of luck! I am hoping to attend on the Sunday myself, so maybe see you (the winner) there 🙂
I tried to leave a comment but couldn’t get it to write… bit of a technophobe sorry
My latest foodie addiction is grated carrot – easy peasy add it to allsorts for colour and flavour.
This all looks good to me Alison. Good luck in the giveaway, and enjoy your carrots – lots of good Vitamin A in there too 🙂
chorizo xx
good choice! I’ve just put some in a chilli – but I also love Waitrose pre-packed, very thinly sliced, smoked paprika chorizo – yummy!

Ginger, adds a tang to recipes!
I love the zing – but don’t like preparing it 🙂
Love to go with the kids, went last year and we all had a brilliant time. visited the children’s food stand and they learnt how to make homemade pasta.
Ooh, sounds brilliant – think it’s great for children to get into cooking and appreciating real food as early as possible. I’ve not been to the festival before, but really looking forward to it this year.
Flavoured salts, my newest obsession!
Charlie recently posted…
I’ve not got any flavoured salts, they always look really pretty, but I look at the price and put them back 😉 Maybe I should treat myself to some!
Nothing special, just mushrooms whenever I can
Doesn’t have to be anything fancy 🙂 I eat mushrooms most days too!
Garlic infused olive oil
I haven’t tried that, but have smoked olive oil which I love. Thanks for your comment and good luck in the giveaway.
Red pepper flakes for a touch of heat x

I’m obsessed with walnuts at the moment x
I used to hate walnuts – probably thinking they were all like the dried-up ones on Walnut Whips! – but love them now.
