My Favourite 15 Home and Interiors Blogs

People often think blogging is a lonely existence, but it’s a very connected world. One of the biggest perks for me has being getting to know many other bloggers with similar interests, and being part of a dynamic and stimulating blogging community. So today I’d like to introduce you to my favourite 15 Home and Interiors blogs, and tell you a little more about the lovely bloggers behind them.

Here goes, in alphabetical order:

The Ana Mum Diary is a top-ranking blog that includes topics such as home interiors, travel, design, food, beauty and fashion. Amanda Cottingham (the ‘A’ of Ana) is also the editor of the Britmums Home and Design Round-up, so she knows a thing or two about interiors, and her opinion and good taste can definitely be trusted!

Arianna’s Daily

Award-winning blog Arianna’s Daily is a mecca for style inspiration – in interiors, travel, fashion, food and general lifestyle. Its author Arianna Trapani is an interior designer, stylist and writer, who is also co-founder and co-editor in chief of Heart Home magazine, the UK’s first digital interiors/lifestyle magazine. An obsessive photographer and social media enthusiast, Arianna charms and captivates with her inspirational (and aspirational) posts.

A Beautiful Space

A Beautiful Space is just one of the many blogs by Becky Goddard-Hill, a published parenting author and multi award-winning blogger. A Beautiful Space is where Becky celebrates her love of home, gardens and interiors. A blogger for ten years, Becky’s other blogs include Thrifty Home, where upcycles and budget makeovers are key topics of interest, and her brand new blog Colour Lover that is all about – you’ve guessed it – her love of colour!

Dear Designer

Dear Designer covers current trends in home decor and features the best of new design, and has recently followed the total transformation of a country cottage by its interior designer author, Carole King. Carole is also the co-founder and joint editor in chief of Heart Home magazine and regularly writes for a variety of industry blogs. When not working you’ll find her walking her big dog or re-arranging her friends’ bookcases.

FifiMcGee

Brighton-based Fifi is on a mission to help couples decorate their homes so nice they’ll never want to leave the house. Her ‘just do it’ attitude shines through on FifMcGee, where she empowers the not-so-confident decorator by providing plenty of inspiration and practical know-how.

These are my favourite blogs, which I hope you enjoy perusing. I also have a few ‘honorable mentions’, who deserve to be on the list if I hadn’t limited it to 15.They are: Boo and Maddie (by London blogger Lins Drabwell who is renovating her 1930s home), Making Spaces (the blog of the wonderfully creative interior designer Karen Knox), and Mummy of Boy Girl Twins and TheTwinkle Diaries – (two great family and lifestyle blogs by Jess and Caro respectively, who co-host a blog link up #HomeEtc where you can read linked-up posts on all things home- and interiors-related).

If you have any other interiors blog recommendations, do let me know in the comments below, I’m always looking for new inspiration.
