Iconic Lights Black Tripod Floor Lamp
I have a bit of a thing for lamps and lights, as I really think they are such a great way of adding interest to any room, and you can change the look and feel of a room so easily by adjusting the lighting according to the mood and atmosphere you wish to create. So I was delighted to be invited to become a blogging ambassador for Iconic Lights, the online emporium for all your lighting needs.
I am like a kid in a sweet shop when perusing the Iconic Lights site. They have such a fabulous range of lights, and I particularly love their designer lamps, both original and reproduction. I’m also very impressed with the commentaries where you can learn all about the designers and the design history of the lights.
I’d been looking for a floor lamp for my front room for a while and settled on Iconic Lights Modern Tripod Floor Lamp with Black Shade, here it is providing a some extra light above my chair, a lovely warm glow:
It’s a great simple lamp that will go well in any minimalist interior. Neat, with a smooth matt fabric shade (I like this, as I hate shiny shades – they look cheap!), it looks way more expensive than the mere £35 it costs.
My black tripod floor lamp arrived really well packaged, and with clear instructions as how to put together (very easy) so was up and working in minutes (maybe even seconds).

Thanks Liz. There is a good range on Iconic Lights – I like the ones with wooden legs too, but decided on something more minimal for my room. I will watch out for pics/posts of your new family room.
