The favourite bed linen set that I own is by Australian bed linen brand, Sheridan, so I was delighted to be invited to their recent press day, showcasing their new collections.

Sheridan is a  luxury brand, and I am a firm believer in ‘you get what you pay for’, especially when it comes to bedlinen.  We spend around of a third of our life in bed after all (and probably a significant chunk of it washing and ironing our bedlinen – or is that just me?) so it makes sense to have the best. My Sheridan set washes and washes and still feels wonderful, and I have replaced many cheaper sets in the time I’ve had it, so the investment is definitely worth it.

Beautiful Bedding

The quality of this beautiful bed linen is second-to-none, but just look at the patterns and designs – stunning. Usually bed linen is playing catch-up when it comes to fashion trends, and Sheridan can be quite traditional in its pattern influences, but these designs are bang on trend, especially the tropical print set. I love how the tropical influence has been interpreted for a bedlinen into gorgeous blues and corals (sleeping in a green and orange jungle might not be very good for a restful night!). How the tropical print co-ordinates with the striped pattern is also very clever. I just wanted to dive into that bed and I’m still thinking about it!

 

 

Luxury Towels

I think you can see the softness of Sheridan towels from the photos above – sheer luxury. Just look at the depth of colour as well, and if they wash anything like the bedlinen, which I’m sure they do, then that colour will last and last. I’m seriously rethinking my decision to go all white with my own towels now.

 

 

Baby Collection

Not just for big beds, Sheridan also do a baby range, full of the softest sheets, duvets and throws, and sweet cushions perfect for a nursery or even an older child’s bedroom. Beautiful dusky pinks and soft blues, and the most gorgeous toile print that makes me wish someone in the family would hurry up and have a baby! (Only temporarily of course, I quickly come to my senses and remember that I am way too young to be a granny just for the sake of some bedlinen, however beautiful!)

 

 

Fabulous Loungewear

New to Sheridan this season is a loungewear collection, for men and women. With the same quality that their bed linen is known for, they have produced soft, soft leggings, teeshirts and wraps, cotton shirts, and knitted hoodies in mocha browns and washed out blues that could easily become your favourite ‘home-day’ attire (and you could still open the door or run out for a pint of milk in it, unlike my current home-day cardi – you don’t want to see!)

 

 

Stylish Stationery

Last, but never least in my book, Sheridan now also have a stationery range. Be still my beating heart! Journals, greetings cards and gift tags, in two ranges of original hand-painted designs- one based on blue china or tile patterns, the other on botanical drawings. Simply gorgeous, and another reason for me to love Sheridan just a little bit more!
